How to Fix Mistakes in Brioche Stitch
If you already know the basics of brioche stitch, in this workshop you will learn how to correct mistakes so that you can finally knit this wonderful stitch without fear of making mistakes. You will practice how to undo stitch by stitch and how to fix a mistake several rows down without having to undo it all. And if you have to pull the yarn and undo several rounds at a time, Belen will teach you how to recover all the stitches without fear so you can continue knitting.
Required material:
- Wool of two contrasting colors. Ideally one lighter and one darker. You can use wool of any thickness but if you want to follow the pattern of the coasters in the photo, DK thickness is recommended.
- Circular needles at least 60 cm long, or double pointed needles 20 cm long. Needle number suitable for the thickness of the yarn. For the coasters, Belén recommends 3.5 or 4 mm.
- 1 crochet hook of the same number as the needles.
- 1 safety pin marker.
- Wool needle and scrap wool thinner than you are using (to make lifelines).
