Sotto il Sole Shawl by Joji Locatelli @jojilocat
This summer shawl was created by Joji, inspired by an upcoming Myak retreat in Italy. Its design captures the essence of peaceful days, sun-drenched landscapes and balmy afternoons.
The shawl features a traditional design. The central column serves as the starting point and grows with each row of stockinette stitch, whilst the stitches increase along both edges and on either side of the central column. The result is an elegant and lightweight accessory, perfect for the transitional seasons.
The ‘Vela’ T-shirt and ‘La Serenissima’ shawl by Sari Nordlund @sari_n_
The ‘Vela’ T-shirt and ‘La Serenissima’ shawl are the two designs created by Sari Nordlund for the mYak 2026 retreat in Murano, inspired by the city of Venice.
The ‘Vela’ T-shirt takes its inspiration from the small boats that sail through Venice’s canals. The name also refers to the design details: the braided motif is reminiscent of the boats’ ropes, whilst the lace motif evokes the gentle ripples left by the boats on the surface of the canal.
The ‘La Serenissima’ shawl is a small triangular scarf designed to be worn in different ways, whether draped around the neck or elegantly knotted, like a neckerchief.
The lace and braided motif is inspired by the gilded details, carved stone and stained-glass windows found in the houses, bridges and narrow alleyways of Venice.
La Serenissima is the affectionate name by which the city of Venice is known and reflects the calm and elegant rhythm of the pattern.
‘Against the Current’ T-shirt and shawl by Elenor Mortensen @elenormortensen
Elenor Mortensen’s ‘Against the Current’ T-shirt is knitted from the top down and features a fish motif. It is shown here in the colours Caffelatte, Denim and Watermelon Sorbet.
The ‘Against the Current’ shawl is a large triangular piece that combines the fish motif from the T-shirt with a wavy lace design. The edge of the shawl is finished with an I-cord.
POPknit Vest by Dario Tubiana @rossocardinale
A pattern designed by Dario Tubiana @rossocardinale and knitted using Tibetan Cloud. Thanks to its extraordinary colour combination, it’s a really fun design to knit.
The POPknit is knitted in separate pieces. You start with the back, shaping the armholes and neckline. Next, you knit the front, with a V-neck. Once all the pieces are finished, the shoulders are sewn together and the armholes and neckline are finished off with a ribbed edge.
