Juana Román is the founder of Andoliando, a project dedicated to pattern design and teaching hand knitting, which was born out of her passion for sharing knowledge and the joy of knitting at a leisurely pace. Through her ongoing online classes, in-person workshops and accessible designs, she has helped thousands of knitters gain confidence with their needles, learn new techniques and enjoy the creative process without fear of making mistakes.
Her style is characterised by clear, educational patterns designed so that every project is also a learning opportunity. Juana advocates mindful, sustainable and meaningful knitting: garments made with our own hands, using good materials and at our own pace. In her workshops, she combines technique, experience and a warm, approachable manner, creating spaces where we can learn, share and rediscover the magic of knitting together.
