Isabell Kraemer | Shawl Shapes

Shawl Shapes

Shawls can come in many different shapes. In this workshop, Isabell will help you understand how to build up the shape of a shawl using increases and decreases to take your shawls to a whole new level.

Once you have learned the basic idea, modifications will be very easy to make and you will be one step closer to bringing your own shawl designs to life.

Isabell will talk about the basic shawl shapes (triangular – symmetrical/asymmetrical, circular, semi-circular, square, etc.), the different ways to make increases, how to add colour and texture and play with yarns of different thicknesses.
